Midwest Trading Purchases Inventory and Assets of White Premium Organics
Midwest Trading has purchased inventory and equipment from White Premium Organics in Ottawa, Il, and has assumed the operation of their bark, soil mix and bagging operation at that facility. The combination of this facility and existing Midwest Trading facilities will allow us to offer a broader range of products to both current and new customers. |

Midwest Trading and Midwest Groundcovers Combine Sales Office Pick Up Yard
Midwest Groundcovers and Midwest Trading combined their wholesale pick up yards this Spring at the St. Charles location, next to the Midwest Groundcovers main office building. This move supports the Midwest Companies’ commitment to providing excellent customer service. The new combined pick up yard will allow one-stop shopping for plants, hardgoods and horticultural supplies. |

Midwest Trading Moves into New Headquarters Facility in Virgil, IL
Midwest Trading moved into a new office facility on December 5th, in Virgil Illinois. Construction on the building began in early summer and was completed just in time for the move. The Virgil operation also houses a state of the art soil blending facility as well as a customer pick up yard and warehouse. |

Midwest Trading Soil Blending Facility Completed
A state-of-the-art, computerized soil blending facility was completed in October, after many months of construction. The facility is fully automated, heavy duty, and capable of producing media at rates of up to 400 cubic yards per hour. The equipment has the ability to produce a wide variety of custom blends with a very high level of precision.
