Stan Schumacher

Board Member

Stan has over 25 years of experience at Midwest Groundcovers. Previously, he served as a Branch Manager/Loan Officer for Kane, DuPage and Cook County for eight years. At Midwest, Stan has been Comptroller for Midwest Groundcovers LLC; Midwest Gromaster; Midwest Trading; PP & O Nurseries; and is currently the Comptroller of Doty Nurseries LLC. Stan is a 43 year member of Maple Park American Legion Post 312; OGA volunteer; NFIB Leadership Council Volunteer; Farm Bureau volunteer; and Virgil Drainage Ditch #3 Commissioner.

Embrace Growth and Change

Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?  
I wanted to own hundreds of acres of land to raise a very large herd of Black Angus cows and calves.

What’s the best concert you’ve been to?  
Emerson, Lake & Palmer concert in Frankfurt, Germany while serving in the US Army.
